Getting Right To It!
During the break of Winter 2018, the team and I conducted a trial study. We co-incubated our circle, uniformed microplastics, and we did 7, 14, 21. and 28-day intervals. We then took our results and examined them to see which ones need to be re-evaluated. Those same samples we will use to put under the FTIR machine tomorrow morning with Professor Dana in the Chemistry department. She will help us use this machine to give us an insight of what is chemically happening to our disk. Since we have circles disks now, it will be a lot easier to determine if anything is really happening to them on the micro level.
